About BHAVNA MATHUR

Bhavna Mathur, the author of The Goodness Charm has a post-graduate degree in Community Resource Management and Extension from Lady Irwin College, Delhi. Her foray into writing started at the age of ten when she began writing poems and articles for newspapers and magazines. She has taught Resource Management, Communication techniques and Extension Methods at Delhi University. Her poems and articles reflect her views on life and express refreshing thoughts about childhood, life and people. The rhythm of themes pertaining to social injustices, rights of the individual and mysteries of existence guide her ideologies. Her stint at Child Rights and You and at National level Non-Governmental organizations was marked by youth mobilization campaigns which advocated making education a fundamental right. Drawing from the energies of worlds around her, her experiences are framed by extensive travel within India and outside. An alumnus of Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, dance, theatre, debating and academics add layers to her personality.
